This recipe is a regular meal at our house. We love these little cheddar loaves!!!!
2 egg whites
3/4 c. fat-free milk
1 c. shredded reduced fat cheddar cheese
3/4 c. quick cooking oats
1 med. onion, chopped
1 med. carrot, shredded (I omitted)
1/2 tsp. salt
3/4 lb. lean ground beef
2/3 c. ketchup
2 Tbsp. brown sugar
1-1/2 tsp. prepared mustard
In a large bowl, whisk egg whites and milk. Stir in cheese, oats, onion, carrot and salt. Crumble beef over mixture and mix well. Shape into eight mini loaves and place in a 13x9x2 baking dish coating with cooking spray. In a small bowl, combine the ketchup, brown sugar and mustard; spoon over loaves. Bake, uncovered, at 350 for 30-45 minutes or until done.
